I would like to say how much we enjoyed our stay in 'Lake Orta'. The stunning views from the apartment stay with me. We shall definitely be returning. We could not fault the apartment, which was comfortable and well equipped. The area of 'Lake Orta' is just stunning and we are recommending to friends to visit Orta, a place that they have not heard of before and definitely the better of the lakes!

Lake Orta and your flat was fabulous... unfortunately the weather was not so kind and we only saw the distant mountains on the morning that we left...our stay was very enjoyable though...thankyou.

We hired the top floor apartment Casa Bellavista for our honeymoon and loved our time there. One of the reasons we chose your property was the series of walks you offered, and we did most of them. Your directions were great - do let me know if you decide to put together another series as we would probably be back like a shot.

We had an excellent holiday, staying in the Darsena. We found that the use of the rowing boat added an extra dimension to the experience of staying at Lake Orta and we used it every day, even venturing as far as Pella on the opposite shore. Our most magical experience was when we were enjoying a picnic in the boat about mid-way between Darsena & Isola San Giulio. At midday we were treated to the simultaneous chimes from the bells of the many surrounding churches.
I'm sure that we'll return.

We really enjoyed our stay, thank you - the apartment was lovely, particularly the views, and the walks you suggested were great. Thanks very much for all the helpful information you provided to make our stay so enjoyable.
Our holiday was also much improved by the fact that my boyfriend proposed to me in a rowing boat in the middle of Lake Orta! As locations go, it would have been hard to beat.

Now that we have returned home from last week's stay at Darsena, I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the holiday.
The accommodation is superbly located, the position right on the lakeside, together with the garden area and roof terrace makes for an unbelievable outlook. What a view to wake up to each morning! It is also so convenient, just 5 minutes walk into the centre of Orta San Giulio itself, where the restaurants we sampled were excellent.
The whole area too is wonderful. The small town of Orta S. G. is incredibly picturesque, the lake is beautiful and the views from the 3 local walks you sent details of were magnificent. We have just had one of the most peaceful and relaxing holidays ever.
Thanks for making all the arrangements and for sharing the area with us. We will certainly return to Orta next year (if not before!) I'm not going to tell too many other people about it though, might make it too difficult for us to book again!
