We had a wonderful holiday, the Casa Miralago was absolutely wonderful, and thank you so much for the effort that you had put into detailing walks, eating places, etc., it all helped to make the holiday really memorable. (And you were correct that the "3-mountainettes" walk was quite stunning - the views were superb).
I am sure that you will hear from us again - at the end of the week we realised what we had not had time for, and so are sure to return.

You were absolutely right about Lake Orta. Since we had come so far, we also visited Maggiore (Stresa, etc.) and Como (Bellagio, etc.), but the more we saw, the more we were happy to have chosen Orta as the place to stay. The weather was just fabulous, so the views from the apartment were really stunning day and night. Walk #1 to Orta was great -- we spent a lot of time "hanging around" at Venus, watching the scenery & people. Orta is a lovely town -- just the right size -- not too touristy (especially in Sept.).
The apartment worked out very well for us. Everything we needed was there, and we really appreciated your directions and all the information you provided. We particularly enjoyed reading the guest book and found it full of useful advice.
We spent the following week in Tuscany which was also very nice, but it seems that we hit the coldest Sept. in history there! It made our stay at Lake Orta that much nicer!
So all in all, we had a fabulous time and will definitely recommend Miralago to friends who want to see that beautiful part of Italy.

We had a wonderful week in Lake Orta - the weather was reasonably kind & we loved the apartment. There was so much to see & do in the vicinity that we just ran out of time. We managed to go skiing for a day at Domo Bianca, Venice for 2 days & Milan shopping as well as a lot of tripping around the local area. Thanks so much for a fantastic week & we'll definitely be recommending a stay to all our friends.

I've just returned from a week at the Casa Frey Primo Piano and wanted to let you know that Julie and I had a great time and that the property exceeded our expectations. I would say that the photos (of Primo Piano) on your website don't do the property justice!
Lake Orta is great (especially the rowing boats!) and easily the most enjoyable of the Italian lakes that I have visited [HHLO comment in 2012: unfortunately the boatmen no longer offer rowing boats for private use].
Thanks again and I look forward to staying at one of your holiday homes in the future...
