The following feedback was received from previous occupants of the apartments. If you wish to take up any of the people below as references, contact details can be supplied.
| We had an absolutely lovely time at Lake Orta. What a setting, and how
nice to be even slightly off the most traveled tourism paths! The apartment
was an excellent base from which to explore the area.
A return trip to Orta is definitely in our plans, though not for the coming year. We will certainly be in touch when the time comes. Thanks for all your efforts.

Thank you for returning our deposit so promptly following our holiday
last week at the Casa Miralago. We had a truly wonderful holiday -
due in no small measure to your meticulous attention to detail in your letting
arrangements. We very much hope to return next year and I will be in
contact with you as soon as I know the likely dates.

| The place was a dream come true.
The view unbelievable and such a great location. One day I am sure we will return to Lake Orta and we will certainly tell friends. Once again thank you for the kindness of the use of this unit and the prompt return of the deposit.

We had a splendid time and thoroughly enjoyed Orta and Italy. Orta is
obviously a very Italian resort and the atmosphere late Saturday evening
strolling along the lakeside was lovely and warm. We were surprised how uncrowded
it was even in the height of August. The village [Vacciago] was attractive
in a low key way and it was fun to walk over to the shop for breakfast bread
in the mornings.
Your joining instructions were spot on. Of your recommendations we particularly enjoyed the Tre Montagnette walk - superb views of Monte Rosa and Lake Maggiore and wildlife including alpine swifts, swallowtail butterflies and great wildflowers. And the kids liked Miami! We also enjoyed Stresa, boat trips on Maggiore and thought Mergozzo and Montorfano were gems. (Although we only managed to see the outside of the church.) Trip to Macugnaga and the edge of Monte Rosa was another highlight with kids enjoying chairlift and walks. Thanks and best wishes.

| We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would recommend the area to anyone
wanting a quiet break in the mountains.
We tried out a couple of the walks (1) to Orta San Giulio and (3) the walk to Monte Falo' which we thoroughly enjoyed again for a second time extending the walk through to the road that leads to M. Mottarone. Once again thankyou for a wonderful week, the art gallery in the village was superb too.
Mr T. Hood |
My family and I enjoyed the house in Orta very much. We found it spacious
and well equipped, and the Signora was very kind and helpful. The building
itself is charming, and we had fun speculating about what it had been before
it became holiday apartments. Since we didn't rent a car, we found your list
of walks particularly interesting.
Lake Orta is possibly the most beautiful place I have visited. Though I had read about the lake and been told over and over that is was a beautiful spot, I was unprepared for how wonderfully striking the lake and island look. I have been trying to describe the place ever since I left, but I haven't yet found the words to convey what I saw. That aside, I certainly hope to see Lake Orta again, and though it would be premature to start making plans now, rest assured that when the day arrives, I will contact you about accommodations. Thanks very much!
