We cannot thank you enough, everything was wonderful. Tom and I adored Lake Orta and Vacciago. We just regret that we had so much research to do that we could not stay longer and simply enjoy the lake and surrounding towns hills etc. We hope to return at some point in the near future.
We were wondering how you found Lake Orta - it seems so well tucked away in the hills, and very few of the people we met (not including Italians) knew of it. Also we want to tell our friends but we also want to keep Lake Orta and Vacciago to ourselves - to keep it unspoiled and peaceful.

We had a wonderful holiday and were extremely comfortable in your lovely apartment. Everything was so well organised, and all the detailed information you sent us was most useful and interesting. We found the flat to be very well equipped and we appreciated all the attention to detail. Marco and Daniela were both charming and welcoming and I still miss my early morning visit to see Edo and his incredibly well stocked shop. The crusty bread was excellent as was all his produce. I only wish his shop was local to me at home.
The only two comments we would like to make are regarding two of the local restaurants which we think are worth recommending. You did in fact mention the Pizzeria "La Sirena" saying it has become popular. We'd like to tell other guests not to be mislead by its fairly simple or unremarkable exterior, because the Pizzas are by far the best we have ever tasted, even in Italy. Other dishes were good too including the pastas and the fresh fish! Our other discovery was La Bocciola, where they have a very pleasant terrace for eating outside with good views of the lake, so it was a good venue if one didn't want to drive as far as Orta San Giulio. The food was excellent again and the staff took great pains to advise about the fresh catch of the day. The service was professional and caring, and the prices were very moderate.
Finally we'd like to say that we fell in love with Lake Orta as you promised we would and we look forward to returning again. We have happy memories of all the places we visited and we will contact you well in advance of the booking season for next year to hopefully make a further reservation.
