| We had a superb week at Paradiso, where we found the beds the
most comfortable we have ever encountered at a holiday property anywhere.
This was the first time that we had stayed other than in Orta SG town
centre, and did rather miss the after dinner saunter to the bars. However,
waking up to the view was stunning. Ironically our favourite restaurant,
Antico Agnello, has decamped from Orta to Miasino, so we would have have
to have driven to it anyway. It is still superb, as is its setting
in Villa Nigra. Everything at Paradiso was right for a party of 4 adults
(my wife and myself, plus our son and daughter in law), in Autumn. I
think that it will be fine for more in the summer, when most living will
be on the balcony (or by the pool) but could be a bit cramped on the one
sofa if forced indoors. Overall fine. Now we have to decide whether
to go back to the town or have the view!

| Wonderful apartment & location & lucky with the weather - wall
to wall sun. Information pack very well detailed and useful. Would
only add that some of the walks were more challenging than described - not
an issue for us but could be for others. Managed all the walks, our
favourite being the three mountains - fabulous.

| Thank you for letting us into your world of Lake D'Orta. We had
a fabulous week in your beautiful, well-equipped apartment, you really have
thought of everything. We followed your walks - timed to perfection!
We used the binoculars every night! And what joy to see a cupboard
full of matching crockery and a teapot!! The visitors book was a great
idea to get information, and the guide to restaurants was invaluable - oh,
the food was amazing! It really is a special place - hopefully we will
return.

here is more like late Autumn, with cold winds and showers !
Just writing to thank you again for a lovely apartment, and your suggestions for places to visit and eat. We have had more than one memorable meal and lots of opportunities to practice our rather poor but improving italian.

| We had such a fantastic week thank you. The apartment
was more than we could haved hoped for, including John Lewis duvets. You
have done everything so well and still at an affordable price.
We all loved the beach at Lagna and went there three times. It's good to know those peaceful, beautiful places still exist, if you seek them out. I am very jealous of you being there this week, but also vety grateful for you helping us also experience it. We tend to keep seeing new places, but in this case we might make an exception!

| We had a perfect holiday at your apartment and Lake Orta. We enjoyed
the terrasse with the most wonderful view we have ever had, and it was a
nice and silent place. Everything was ok! We would like to come back
sometime to experience more of "Williams walks" :) we only tried one, because
we couldn't get our bodies to move away from the pool and the beautiful view
at Villa Gelsomina :))

| We had a good journey back home yesterday. We departed
around 6am and were in Velp (Arnhem) around 9pm. Thanks a lot for your
patients and help. I appreciated your help very much!
Our stay at Ciao Sole was excellent. The view from the house, especially during the mormings when we could see Monte Rosa, was stunning. The children played a lot of chess in the garden and enjoyed themselves in the swimming pool. The dvds were useful for the few rainy afternoons. The information you sent about walks and restaurants was very useful. Parking tip for visiting Milan was also useful. Walk 3 "the three little mountains" was a very nice walk, instructions were clear. We divided Walk 2 in two short walks, one to Vacciago and one round Orta. With Walk 4 we had a problem finding the start at map "Monte Mesma" number 6 and 7, opposed restaurant Vecchio. Walking the other way around was also not easy because the start (or end 23) was also not clear. Finally I found the first Via Crucis and started the walk. At the end I missed a turn and ended up in Ameno and walked back to Vacciago, still not knowing what the startpoint was. Maybe you could look into that. Orta San Giulio is a beautiful village not as touristic as other villages around the bigger lakes like Como or Garda. We had a fantastic dinner at restaurant Venus at the main plaza at the lakeside. In conclusion: a very nice holiday.

| Thank you for your note. We had a FABULOUS time! All
the people were very friendly and helpful and made our stay special. We
had dinner at [Ristorante] Olina one night, having
introduced ourselves to Daniela. I've had many steaks in many places
around the world however the one I had there with a beautiful sauce has,
I think, set a new benchmark! We were able to use WiFi whilst we were
there however, generally, we used the WiFi at Ristorante Venus, which was
very good and the people very helpful and attentive.
We are now in France (Vezelay) where the weather is what we Australians might consider Winter-like rather than Summer! Compared to Orta, it is just a different aspect to our holiday but nonetheless enjoyable! We will certainly recommend Orta to our friends!

| We enjoyed our visit very much and attended three very enjoyable concerts
on the island during the festival. It was a fantastic experience having
a window seat watching the changes in the character of the lake and island
during a variety of weather conditions over the course of our stay at l'Isola.

| We had a wonderful time at Casa Bartula! The house was even better
than expected, and thanks to you, Paola and Giampiero, the whole process
of finding our way to/around the house, and checking in and out, was so easy
and relaxed. The information pack you provided was really excellent,
the best I have ever experienced for a holiday let, and the walks were
particularly appreciated (beautiful maps!). We hugely enjoyed exploring
Orta and the local area.

 we enjoyed it very much. And
the weather was friendly we could see Monte Rosa 5 of the 7 days so not bad
at all.
The apartment has all you need during your stay and even more and the beautiful view over the lake is wonderful every day and changing during the day. Also many thanks for your very kind and quick help with the light problem in the hall, this was fixed within 2 hours. We also saw the other accommodation’s on your web page and next year we hope to come back in one of them.

| We had a lovely holiday in Orta. The apartment was very comfortable
and we enjoyed exploring the lake and island. The taxi transfers worked
perfectly and Irene was very welcoming and helpful. Even the weather
was kind!

| We really enjoyed our stay and apart from the minor issues
I mentioned to you on the phone regarding the internet and the slight problem
with the toilet flush we had no problems at all.
[HHLO Response: Telecom Italia restored the
internet service on 3rd June.] The view from Dolce Vita
is fantastic. It was even better in reality than the pictured on your
website. I took hundreds of pictures because I found the changing weather
light conditions made it look very different.
The apartment itself and the equipment were excellent and we found your local information and guides very helpful. We explored Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore which were both great in their different ways and we were very taken with Pella. We did struggle a bit with the various possibilities when it came to boat trips on both lakes and in particular how much time to allow, so if you could add some guidance on this to your welcome pack perhaps it may be useful for others. [HHLO Response: we will look into whether we can provide or point clients at boat timetables and other relevant info.] We don't go back to the same place for holidays - there's so much to see in the world! But if we did then Villa Gelsomina would be one place we would return to.

| We had a lovely stay thanks and wish we had remembered to fill in the
visitor's book to reflect the peaceful time we spent in the villa. Villa
Gelsomina is very nice indeed, we will return and urge our friends and family
to stay with you if they travel to the Lakes. The villa is very well
designed, contains more than enough amenities and was spotlessly clean.
And of course your attentive, courteous and understanding approach
to customers is a definite bonus.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Miralago. The views from the balcony
were breathtaking and the location was perfect for us. We will chose
Miralago the next time we go to Orta.

| Thanks: we did enjoy Orta very much, and particularly appreciated
some of the walks (e.g. the 'giro' of Vacciago). The routes were very
clearly described and we found the sketch maps quite sufficient on their
own. It might be worth adding a note indicating where one can find
refreshments on the routes, e.g. we found a small bar attached to the petrol
station in Miasino which provided welcome relief on a hot afternoon! It
might also be worth pointing out that your estimated durations for the walks
assume a reasonably fast pace.
I had (perhaps wrongly) formed the impression from your notes that it was not realistic to travel between Orta and Malpensa by public transport, but it is in fact quite straightforward (at least at certain times of day) and, of course, much cheaper than taking a taxi. There is a direct bus between Malpensa and Novara railway station (€7.00 www.stnnet.it/novaramalpensa.html) which has a direct train service to Orta-Miasino (€3.30). The apartment was amazing so clean and so much space. The view
was spectacular. I would have no hesitation recommending this apartment
to anyone travelling to Orta.
My mother said if Orta was closer to Sydney she would return every year and stay in Giove. Thanks a million for your assistance.

Yes, we had another wonderful holiday. The acommodation is top rate
and the location is ideal for a wide range of trips and activities. I
have already written a suitably positive review on the holiday rentals site
following our previous stay.
One new development that proved very popular with our daughter was the 'bob-sled' ride at Mottarone. So much so that they ended up giving us a discount!
