We did have an awesome week thank you, the apartment was perfect and
a good size as well. We made friends with the owners of the resturant on
the lake (can't remember the name of it) and they let us take the pedalo
round to the private beach, which was really nice. The lake was so picturesque
and the water was beautiful to swim in! Very relaxing, just what we needed.

| We had a great time staying in the apartment. It was really well equipped,
spacious and comfortable. And the views are amazing! If we want another holiday
on Lake Orta we will certainly not need to look any further for our accommodation
than Panorama.

It was delightful to stay at the villa. It was very spacious, well designed
and ideal for our age with shops and restaurants near to hand. We were pleasantly
surprised to find how near the villa was to the wedding venue at the San
Rocco hotel. The scenery of the hills, Isle of Orta and the views from the
walkway to the garden were breath taking. All four of us had a very relaxing
and enjoyable stay and would recommend to others.

| We have just returned home from our stay at Dolce Vita and
wanted to thank you for everything. The location is stunning and, given that
the pictures on the web make it look so fantastic that you cannot believe
that it is going to be that good, I have to say that the real thing is 10
times better. All the taxi arrangements that you made for us worked perfectly
and Rita was an absolute gem. She could not have been more pleasant or more
helpful - even taking us to a supermarket on the way from the airport to
the villa.
All the info that you sent by email re the apartment, shops, walks etc was really useful and so easy to follow. We walked along to La Bottega for supplies several times and enjoyed being amongst the locals with not another tourist in sight! Thanks for all your help. Villa Gelsomina is a very beautiful place and our only regret is that we only had 4 days there. However it gives us the perfect excuse to return again and we hope to do so soon.

| We had a very good stay at Casa Bartula. A nice little place, a gorgeous
view (on clear days Monte Rosa could be seen) and friendly people (in order
to communicate some Italian language knowledge is necessary however). A good
starting place for many beautiful trips in the surroundings. A place to be
recommended!

| Dear William,
Just wanted pass on our gratitude after our wonderful Lake Orta wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect and our accomodation played a big role in this. It was furnished exactly to our taste with everything you could ever need. The kitchen was kitted out with the best of appliances (all smeg) and plenty of crockery, pots, cutlery, glasses etc. The full villa was perfectly cool at all times even on the hotest of days. Both showers were fantastic and the water pressure strong too - its nice to see that the water was as soft as it is in Scotland - great when washing hair! The bath towels were some of the best I have had home or abroad. The bedrooms were stunning with their very comfortable 4 poster beds and the bed linen was crisp and clean. The dining area was perfectly situated in the centre of the house next to the front door. We really enjoyed the lake side private gardens, loads of room for sunbathing and the steps down were a great help. My husband swam lots on this holiday. We were very happy to have read the welcome booklet at the begining - the reason being that when I had my hairdressers make up artist etc getting me ready for the wedding, our electricity cut out (too many appliances running!), thankfully you had mentioned this may happen in your welcome pack so we new exactly what to do! The whole holiday was amazing and we are already looking forward to our next visit! We have already been recommending Lake Orta and the apartment to our customers and friends. We miss Orta very much! Thank you once again for the most fantastic, romantic, comfortable wedding holiday we could have ever imagined!

| We have had a delightful holiday with the extended family in
Villa Gelsomina. We had excellent weather and everyone in our party was
overwhelmed by the beauty of the lake and the views from the Villa.
The Villa is furnished and equipped to an unusually high standard and we were more than comfortable. We will certainly recommend the Villa and indeed, a visiting friend complimented us on our choice of accommodation and indicated that they will also visit the Villa with their very large family, in the future. Thank you again for a very professionally conducted transaction.

| The peace and tranquillity at Dolce Vita was so much appreciated.
It is wonderfully private there and so very comfortable and clean.
We watched the gardener working diligently in your garden a day or so before we came away. He really made a lovely job of it. The hydrangeas were a picture when we came away and the tulip tree flowers were really attracting the local bees! Lovely too to see your olive tree. The two young men who brought our fresh bedlinen were most polite too. All these factors make one feel quite uplifted, and it is apparent that you work very hard to ensure this excellent standard. Speaking to some of the "locals" in Orta San Guilio, is is apparent that the tourism is less this year. One local retailer said that the holiday coaches are only half full, and that her takings so far are fifty percent less on the same time last year. We would be so very happy to return to Dolce Vita soon. There are still some beautiful church interiors and architecture we would appreciate seeing, and to be able to walk along the pretty lakeside again, then return to the villa to admire the view of the lake, the island etc... we could never tire of it.

| Where do I begin with regard to my recent stay in
the Panorama apartment in Villa Gelsomina. My wife, son & I had an absolutely
wonderful time. The view from the villa was simply quite stunning. Although
the weather at the start was not great, it was more than made up for by the
sunshine for the second part of the week.
Everything was catered for within the apartment. From the DVDs, games & books for my son to the excellent maps & details which you so kindly provided for myself. The listings of local restaurants came in very handy & I must say restaurant Britain was so good I had to go back twice!!!! We went to attend a wedding & were blown away by the sheer beauty of the lake. I am only recently married & but already I'm hoping that I may be able to spend my first anniversary back by the lake. Don't be surprised to hear from me in the next few months with a query regarding another booking!!!!!!!!!! Can I also say thank you for the personal touch you provided on our stay. From the details I have mentioned above to the phone call on the day before we left, I can honestly say that we really did feel so warmly welcome. Since I have returned home, I have done nothing but rave about the wonderful time we had.

| We have had a very pleasant holiday in your beautifull apartment
Ciao Sole at Lake Orta. The rooms including bathrooms were very good and
so was the garden. We had nice weather too.
Among all positive remarks from our side, two tips: - your appartment should be perfect if there was wireless LAN (internet). As a businessman I must keep in contact with my clients. So this time I was obliged to go to an internet point to read my e-mail. - and my wife and daughter should like you to have a water jug for dinner. Perhaps in the future we should like to rent your appartment again.

Can't quite belive how quick the week went. We had a wonderful couple of days at Lake Orta followed by glorious weather in the south of Italy. Your apartment was just what we needed and I think most of the family were wishing they had done the same. Best wishes for the rest of the season and the continued success for Villa Gelsomina.

We had a brill time in lake Orta - the views are spectacular and people
very friendly. We found Max a great help when we arrived etc.
The apartments were spot on as well - clean, warm, hot water and great location. The weather was dreadful the first few days but picked up in time for our friends wedding. All in all we had a great time.

| Regarding appartment; it was great. The rooms were very spacious
with quality fittings we felt really at home and relaxed which is what you
need when you go for a short break. The garden, we enjoyed very much, it
was so peaceful to go to with a nice glass of wine in the sunshine and soak
up the views while feeding the ducks.
It has been a first class service from our first point of contact with you; also a excellent web site. We have given your details to friends of ours. We will be back in the future.

We had a quick and safe journey home. We enjoyed our stay at
Casa Miralago very much! After the first 3 days of terrible rain the weather
improved and stayed beautiful with lot of sun for the rest of the time. The
appartment was very comfortable and the view fantastic! Never had such a
nice holidayhome. The other neighbours arrived only for the weekend, except
the couple down who came and settled for the rest of the summertime. So it
was very quiet in the house. We made several walks in the mountains, and
visited Turin and Milan. Your information was useful and good.
Thanks for that. Perhaps we return; you never know.

We had a wonderful time at Lake Orta - we loved the garden and sitting out at the water and went on 2 of the walks that you had recommended. The town was lovely and we were so happy to be there instead of at one of the larger lakes. Really liked the Alessi touch in the kitchen as well.

Just to let you know we all had a lovely time in the apartments in Orta
San Giulio. We were on the second floor and my sister, her husband
and our mum were on the first floor - this worked very well as our lounge
was used as the communual breakfast and 6.00pm Prosecco aperitifs area!
We did the walks you recommended and the three mountains one was particularly lovely - we got to see snow in our shorts! The little shop in the square served all our purposes - we didn't need the supermarket, and we would say all the local restaurants we tried were good but would give special mention to the Restaurant Olina which gave us a very special evening. Thanks for all your help - it all went very smoothly.

| Hi William,
Our stay at the villa was wonderful and the weather was perfect. The landscape was beautiful with snow everywhere but it wasn't cold at all and we had sun every day. The villa is in a truly wonderful location and we love Orta. We did go to Mottarone and found it to be a lovely, low-key ski resort. It was perfect for us as we were all beginners, apart from Kevin and Michael! The prices are very reasonable too and the drive up there is gorgeous ~ we did notice that it got pretty busy towards the weekend though, whereas during the week it was fairly quiet. We really enjoyed it and the whole week was perfect. One thing that might be useful for other visitors to know is that if you drive from Stresa to Mottarone you have to pay a charge of 6 euros, whereas if you drive straight from the villa, via Armeno, there isn't a charge.
