We are delighted to offer Villa Heureka, a beautiful spacious contemporary-style lake-side apartment arranged over two floors directly on Lake Orta. Villa Heureka sleeps 6 adults in three bedrooms and has three internal bathrooms (and one external bathroom).

Lakeside living

The accommodation is approx 250 square metres (2500 square feet), arranged as follows:

· Second Floor: entrance hallway; master bedroom with double bed and ensuite bathroom with shower and bath; two twin bedrooms; family bathroom with shower. All three bedrooms have superb lake view and open on to the second floor terrace which runs the length of the apartment; sunbeds for 6 adults.

· Third (top) Floor: large living room with superb panoramic lake view and fully equipped kitchen area; dining table for 6 persons; sofas to accommodate 6 adults; utility room with washing machine; bathroom; access to third floor terrace which runs the length of the apartment and benefits from electric sunblinds; outside dining table for 6 adults.

· Ground Floor: paved area with direct access to lake via private steps or floating wooden swimming pontoon (shared with one other apartment); outside shower; a further loo (making 4 in the apartment in total); traditional barbecue; summer kitchen with small fridge, 2-ring cooker and storage space; table and chairs for al fresco dining for 6 adults.

Location

This wonderful apartment is on the lake side SP229 road on the east side of Lake Orta, close to Omegna. The windows are double glazed so you don't hear the road. It's 200 metres south of Borca. A car is necessary for this apartment. Parking for 1 or 2 medium-sized vehicles.

Villa Heureka is conveniently situated on the road between Omegna (2 km) and Orta San Giulio (7km). Omegna is the only town of its size right on Lake Orta, and has everything you could want in terms of cafes, shops, restaurants, pizzerias and banks. The car-free lake-side village of Orta San Giulio is the centre of the lake from a tourist perspective, and there are regular boat services running between Omegna and Orta San Giulio and other lake-side villages. Miami beach, with sunbeds, pedalos, canoes, bar and restaurant, is at the south end of the lake, just 10km from Villa Heureka. Road access and Parking	Easy access from the SP229 road running along the west side of Lake Orta. Private off-street parking for one medium size car. Ask us if you need parking for 2 cars, or have a particularly large car, it may be possible!
Children	Not suitable for children under 7 because of the lake-side garden.
Wheelchair access	Not suitable as there are internal stairs up to the living room and down to the ground floor lake-side garden.

Arrivals (after 4pm) and departures (by 10am) are on a Saturday from the beginning of May to the end of September. Outside of this period arrival days are flexible.

Costs are in pounds sterling per week for the whole apartment, fully inclusive of electricity, hot water, gas for cooker, bed linen, and standard size towels. Shorter stays are accepted for October through April (minimum 5 days for Villa Heureka), see short stays for pricing of stays less than a week. Winter heating costs are included.

Because of the lake-side swimming area, Villa Heureka is not suitable for families with small children aged less than seven years. Pets are not allowed.
