Casa Zeffiro (at Sabaudia)
The Casa Zeffiro is a beautiful, very spacious and light two bedroom villa with garden front and back, located near Sabaudia, one hour's drive south of Rome. It is 5 minutes drive from one of the longest sandy beaches in Italy.
From Sabaudia you can make day trips into Rome (whether by car or parking at a nearby train station to avoid driving into Rome), and also south to the splendours of Vesuvius, Pompei, Herculaneum, and Capri. The local area is also full of interest, having once been marsh land drained relatively recently historically speaking. Sabaudia itself is a model of the 'modern' architecture of the 1930s, having been designed fom nothing during the Mussolini period.
The characteristic Monte Circeo a few miles to the south, which breaks the coastline, affords spectacular views over the flatter coastal plains to both the north and south, and there are several villages and restaurants with panoramic views.
This area, within the Circeo National Park, is extremely popular for Romans to own a second home, and is well set up for holiday makers. There is a supermarket and restaurant within walking distance.
It represents excellent value for money and is not only a comfortable apartment with dining table outside the french windows at the back opening on to the garden, but is a great base to explore this wonderful region and enjoy days on the wonderful beach.

Downstairs the Casa Zeffiro has a living room and large kitchen area, opening onto the back garden (for your private use). Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one double room, one twin room with bunk beds, and a bathroom. Both bedrooms have balconies (see photo for the one of the master nedroom). There is also another bathroom downstairs (i.e. on the lower ground floor) from the living room.
The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. A washing machine is in the downstairs bathroom. Parking is on the street (a very quiet no-through road) directly in front of your house.
