We are delighted to offer a new ground floor apartment in Villa Giovanetti in Orta San Giulio, with superb lake-side garden. The apartment has two double bedrooms - each with contemporary four poster beds - and a quality sofabed in the the living room for a third couple. The Smeg appliances and marble floors inside complement the wonderful lake-side setting outside.
To allow you to to stay for long-weekends and take advantage of cheaper flights during the week, the arrival and departure days for this apartment are flexible, so it is no problem to rent mid-week to mid-week. There is a 5% discount from the weekly price for 6-day stays, and a 10% discount for 5-day stays. The minimum stay is 5 days (unless there is a shorter gap between existing bookings in which case we will be happy to fill it).

| Road access and Parking | Located in Orta San Giulio. You can load/unload directly in front of the apartment. Free but limited street parking 20 metres away for one car, using the residents' parking permit which we provide. If this area is full, you can also park in the more extensive residents parking the other side of Orta San Giulio (5 minutes walk). If your group has a second car, you will need to park it in the covered multi-storey car park (5 minutes walk) which costs approx €8 per day. |
| Children | This apartment is not intended primarily for children, as there are no single beds. For swimming from the lake-side garden, bear in mind that the lake is immediately deep. However the apartment is perfect with a couple with up to 2 teenagers, as they can each have a double bed. There is a cot, for couples with a baby. |

Orta San Giulio has a large number of cafes, shops, restaurants, a pizzeria, a bank with cash machine, and several gelaterias (bars selling home made ice-cream). You can swim from your lake-side garden. There is also a little beach at Ortello, walking distance (300 metres) from your apartment.
As Holiday Homes at Lake Orta clients, you are entitled to a 25% discount on the entrance to Miami beach, at the south end of the lake, just 10 minutes by car. There are many places of interest to visit in the local area, lots of places further afield for day trips, and some great walks (we provide a set of 4 walks in your location pack, 3 of which start from your front door!), and a good selection of sporting and other local activities are available.

Villa Giovanetti - Bathroom
This wonderful lake is still little known outside Italy. Lying in the foothills of the Alps, with low hills at the south end of the lake, but higher mountains at the north end. The scenery of Lake Orta is gentle - and inviting! - just as the local people are warm and hospitable...
Most of our holidaymakers arrive by air at one of Milan's airports (the nearest, Milan Malpensa airport, is just 24 miles away) and pick up a hire car, often taking advantage of the cheap flights that are now available.
