We are delighted to offer Giove, one of two stunning two-bedroom apartments in Piazza Motta, the main square of Orta San Giulio. The apartment enjoys stunning views of the piazza and Island of San Giulio from the very spacious living room. Giove is on the second floor, and sleeps 6 adults in comfort in one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, plus a double sofabed in the living room. The other apartment in the same building is Venere, which has an identical layout and is on the floor above.
It's enchanting to watch the Italian way of life, whether from your living room, or from strolling around this wonderful village. There are beaches nearby, little Ortello beach is walking distance (just 300 metres), and you can take a dip in many places around the Orta pensinsular, and as Holiday Homes at Lake Orta clients, you are entitled to a 25% discount on the entrance to Miami beach, at the south end of the lake, just 10 minutes by car. There are many places of interest to visit in the local area, lots of places further afield for day trips, and some great walks (we provide a set of walks in your location pack to get you started, most of them start from your front door!), and many sporting and other local activities are available.

Parking and vehicle access
You cannot drive into the main square where the apartment is located as it is in the middle of the pedestrian zone. Covered public parking (pay-on-exit) is available 200 metres from your apartment for €10 per day. There are also a few free parking spaces available 300 metres from your apartment (but sometimes it can be difficult to find free spaces there). If you have heavy luggage without wheels, a hand trolley is provided for your use. Full details of the parking arrangements will be in your location pack.
Taxis picked up from other locations will generally only collect and drop you in the parking area. The local taxi firm Rita and Paolo Bacchetta (details in your location pack) can take you to your front door.
Your stay at Giove
Arrival and departure days are flexible. Minimum stay 3 nights (except if there happens to be a shorter gap). 10% discount per day for stays shorter than a week.

Costs are in pounds sterling, for the whole apartment, fully inclusive of electricity, hot water, gas for cooker, winter heating (reasonable use) when necessary, bed linen, and standard size towels. Ask for quotes in other currencies.
The costs above are for up to 4 people. There is an additional charge of £8 per person per day for extra people (maximum total 6 persons).
Arrivals from 1700 (5pm) to 2000 (8pm). Departures from 0830 (8.30am) to 1200 (12 noon).
Pets are not allowed.
